The Pfizer Emergent Leader Award recognizes female-identified* individuals in the second year and above of their graduate studies or postdoctoral research. Awardees receive a $1,500 stipend to cover travel expenses to the ACS Spring meeting and are recognized at the ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) reception and luncheon.
Applicants must perform research in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry or chemical biology.
*Female-identified individuals (both cis and trans) and persons assigned female at birth (AFAB).
