The Pfizer Emergent Leader Award recognizes female-identified* individuals in the second year and above of their graduate studies or postdoctoral research. Awardees receive a $1500 stipend to cover travel expenses to the ACS Spring Meeting and are recognized at the Women Chemists Committee (WCC) ‘Just Cocktails’ reception and the WCC Luncheon.
The applicants must perform research in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry or chemical biology.
*Female-identified individuals (both cis and trans) and persons assigned female at birth (AFAB).
Award amount: $1,500 stipend to cover ACS Spring Meeting travel expenses
Where: ACS Spring 2024 Meeting in New Orleans, LA
Eligibility: Individuals in their second year and above in graduate studies and postdoctoral researchers in the areas of organic chemistry, synthetic methodology, total synthesis, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, and chemical biology.
Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible.
