This award recognizes graduate students who are working in areas related to environmental chemistry. The award is based on a student’s transcripts, record of research productivity, brief discussion of future goals, and letter of recommendation from the faculty adviser. Awardees receive cash and membership in the Environmental Division for one year. Up to 20 awards are given each year.

Where: A United States educational institution in chemistry, environmental engineering, or other programs emphasizing environmental chemistry.
Eligibility: Candidates must have completed one full year of graduate study at their current institutions. Other restrictions apply.
