This fellowship targets researchers who have completed their doctoral degrees in the last four years and have an interest in carrying out long-term research in Germany. Applicants are able to choose their own topics of research and their academic hosts.
Stipend: About $3,000 per month
Length: 6–24 months

Applications Due: Ongoing. Selection committee reviews applications in November, March, and July. Applications should be submitted at least four to seven months ahead of the prospective selection meeting.
