This opportunity from AAAS is for early-career scientists and engineers who have made a notable contribution to public engagement with science, defined as (1) active participation in efforts to engage with the public on science- and technology-related issues and (2) creating meaningful discussions between society and the scientific community. Award Amount: $5,000, a commemorative plaque, and complimentary registration to the AAAS Annual Meeting, including reimbursement for reasonable hotel and travel expenses

Eligibility: Candidate must be “early career” which is defined as an individual who has completed their terminal degree within seven years of the deadline for nominations.
