ACS Science Policy Fellowship

The ACS Science Policy Fellowship Program places one fellow with the ACS External Affairs and Communications team (EAC) for one to two years. The fellow works with experienced EAC staff to provide information to policy makers on the role of science in public policy, to advance specific recommendations about issues affecting the chemical enterprise, and to inform and involve ACS members in the policy process. EAC staff cover a range of issues of interest to ACS members, including federal funding for scientific research; science, technology, engineering, and math education; green chemistry; environmental policy; and regulatory policy.

Stipend: $66,300+ per year, along with other support, including reimbursement for health care insurance.
